Pravasi Bharatiya Sahayata Kendra (PBSK), is a welfare initiative of Government of India to provide support to Indian Expatriates in need. PBSK, Dubai started its operations from 23 November 2010.
Members of the Indian Community can call these centers from anywhere in the UAE through a toll free number 80046342. The areas covered by the PBSK are related to all issues concerning overseas Indian Community in UAE. The service is completely free of charge for all Indians in UAE.
The core activities of PBSK are mentioned below:
- Manage a 24x7 Toll Free HELP LINE (toll free line, 80046342).
- Receive, register and monitor grievance petitions and provide clarification to information seeking queries.
- Provide Legal, Financial and Personal Counselling by experts in respective fields
- Conduct Awareness Campaigns in various Emirates across UAE
- Provide assistance to Indian Embassy and Indian Consulate in different activities as and when required.
- Liaison with help-groups, individual social workers and related bodies to offer assistance to Indian Community Members.
- To verify the genuineness of job offers from respective company or UAE local authorities and reply by email to the concerned person.
